About Gram Sansad
Gram Sansad is a social platform to co-create evidence-based business roadmaps and policy solutions for enhancing rural collaboration and synergies among the stakeholders. The overarching objective of Gram Sansad is to improve the rural synergies in strategic business and policy decision-making and collaboration between various government and rural actors.
By combining local knowledge and scientific expertise in a co-creation process, Gram Sansad engages actors and stakeholders at all levels to improve rural interdependence and collaboration by identifying problems and setting up evidence-based business roadmaps and policy solutions, focusing on economic growth, development planning, and environmental protection.
Problem Statement
Villages need to co-create evidence-based business roadmaps and policy solutions for enhancing rural collaboration and synergies among the stakeholders. The focus is to improve the rural synergies in strategic business and policy decision-making and collaboration between various government and rural actors.
Solution & Uniqueness
Gram Sansad enables a Panchayat to adopt a thematic development plan for holistic improvement based on the particular theme of LSDGs and enables Panchayats to generate their own revenue sources to take up initiatives for the public good of the village.
