WHEELS is proud to announce an Interactive Session with partner RuralShores for an Inspiring Evening on 15th Sept from 630pm – 830pm EST.

WHEELS Global Foundation is hosting Colonel Ravi Gupta, CEO, RuralShores.  This is an excellent opportunity to meet one of our inspiring partners to learn how they are transforming tier 3 & tier 4 communities by building RuralShores centers. Hear about a senior army officer’s journey from IIT to social impact at scale.

Colonel Ravi Gupta is an alumnus of the ‘National Defence Academy’ and ‘Defence Services Staff College’, Wellington. He has served in the Indian Army for 23 years. During his service, he has been part of operations in Sri Lanka (IPKF), Kargil and UN Mission in Angola. He is also a postgraduate from IIT Bombay in Power Systems. After commanding a Specialist Engineer Regiment, he bit the corporate bullet in 2005. He joined i-mint, a start-up in the Loyalty domain, as head of Operations, which got acquired by PAYBACK Germany and subsequently by American Express. As CEO of RuralShores, Ravi led the rapid growth of this transformational initiative from humble beginnings to a network of 14 centers across India, which is now impacting the lives of tens of thousands of youths and nearly a million people. After six years of leading RuralShores, Ravi is now transitioning to coach, mentor, and nurture young talent building new startups, and hence joining WHEELS’ launch of a new initiative, in partnership with BoDE Foundation, called ‘Building Startups for Digital Economy’.

Learn about our latest launch in Jharkhand (our 4^th large State, after Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Maharashtra) of our ambitious program to tackle pervasive malnutrition & stunting across entire Rural & Tribal India. And many other programs touching lives across the country.
