Be a Part of Our Journey of Impact At-Scale
Overview:
Across India and the United States, rural and underserved populations continue to face limited access to timely, quality healthcare. Geographic isolation, workforce shortages, and infrastructure constraints make traditional healthcare delivery models insufficient. This seminar brings together a diverse panel of experts to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI)—especially when embedded in telemedicine platforms—can transform healthcare systems to be more inclusive, accessible, and effective. Thus, revolutionizing healthcare delivery across rural and marginalized populations.
Through cross-continental dialogue, the session will spotlight scalable innovations, policy frameworks, and ethical guardrails necessary to deploy AI for the greatest societal impact.
Key Themes:
♦ Bridging Gaps in Access: AI-powered platforms can extend the reach of healthcare professionals into remote areas with minimal infrastructure, reducing disparities in diagnosis, monitoring, and patient education.
♦ Bilateral Impact: Both India and the U.S. have significant rural and underserved populations who face logistical, financial, and cultural barriers to care. Telemedicine, supported by AI, can offer scalable, cost-effective solutions tailored to each region’s needs.
♦ Privacy and Trust in AI: With increasing reliance on digital platforms, data protection and algorithmic transparency become central. The ethical use of AI, including respect for patient autonomy and consent, will be explored.
♦ Rural Healthcare Delivery: Using AI to empower frontline providers, streamline triage, enable remote diagnostics, and reduce referral gaps in low-resource settings.
♦ Telemedicine as a Lifeline: Leveraging AI to enable 24/7 remote consultations, chronic disease monitoring, and preventive care in regions with limited medical infrastructure.
♦ Equity and Ethics: Addressing digital literacy, trust in AI systems, and data privacy—especially in vulnerable populations.
♦ India–USA Collaboration: Promoting mutual learning, resource-sharing, and bilateral partnerships to accelerate rural health innovation.
