About NOBA GSR

NOBA GSR aims to carry out various types of social work across the world under multiple dedicated wings. These wings will have several initiatives as per the needs of society, in their respective dedicated areas, such as health, education etc. The general idea to serve under various wings is that it will help us reach the needy in all possible fields and provide them with a path to flourish and grow together in the beautiful world.

Problem Statement

NOBA GSR tailors an initiative based on the needs of the community. One of the initiatives is “Throw Nothing”. It is targeted to cater to the communities where the abundance of resources creates substantial environmental waste causing negative changes to the planet Earth.

Solution & Uniqueness

“Throw Nothing” provides a dedicated platform for members to exchange items they no longer need or want. This system not only facilitates the reuse of goods but also fosters a sense of community resourcefulness and environmental stewardship.

Scale of Opportunity

The pilot for this project started 3 years back, starting with 2 townships and spreading to 7 more, saving ~130,000 household items from going to landfill. For the long-term scalability, NOBA GSR will partner with local for-impact organizations to reach more townships.
